PM LINE COOKGood Thanks Brooklyn location is looking for a hard working line cook to join our small team for PM service.The 40 seat restaurant located in East Williamsburg and is the second location under the Good Thanks group. We are open from 9am - 11pm and serve breakfast/lunch and dinner every day and of course brunch on the weekend.This position if for PM DINNER SERVICE.Shifts run fron 2-3pm to 11pm. We are looking for someone with a proper love for restaurants and restaurant work. Someone who’s sole focus is to be in the hospitality industry and progress through its ranks. The role is full time and the schedule would be Tues & Wed off, this could be discussed, however weekendavailability is fully required. We are an 'Australian' style menu which can be interpreted as Californian in style, light bright fresh and using all global cuisine. Job DescriptionThe Line Cook’s primary responsibility is to cookin our kitchen, following our Chef’s specifications and guidelines. This is achieved by: Think creatively and problem solve Being punctual and paying attention to detail Maintaining a positive and professional attitude with coworkers Working in a fast-paced high pressure environment without losing composure Performing other duties as directedby Chef and superiors Manage your prep list and communicate with the team on food inventory, ensuring your walk-in is fully-stocked and organized Properly execute our menu and follow recipes exactly Own restaurant cleanliness by setting up the opening shift for success and closing with confidence that the kitchen is prepared for the next day Follow health department standards Stand and walk for extended periods of time We pride outselves on our positive working culture and feel we have harnessed a very proffesional yet welcoming and fun environment.
